The bundled HSK vocabulary is adapted from CC-CEDICT through complete-hsk-vocabulary. Changes include simplified-only learning entries, selected readings and senses, shorter learning definitions, deduplication and grouping into cumulative legacy HSK books. These adapted vocabulary resources are distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0. No endorsement by the dictionary contributors or HSK examination authority is implied. The HSK books are legacy six-level reference lists, not the new HSK exam syllabus or official exam preparation material. Actual distinct-entry counts are shown in the app.

The original First Words and Everyday Mandarin learning text is also provided under CC BY-SA 4.0. Pinyin shows lexical tones; natural speech may use tone sandhi. Chinese speech is supplied by Apple's system voices, not by CC-CEDICT or an HSK authority.
